SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst, Business Decision Support and Strategic Projects position is within our Corporate division and is responsible for supporting business development and strategic projects in a financial capacity across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leaders on business priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare financial analysis and reports to support business partners with decision making
  • Work with cross functional business teams to define project scope, gather the required data, synthesize input and feedback from the team, and ensure project timelines are met
  • Able to seek out data and aggregate from multiple sources to identify trends, issues, and provide insights and recommendations
  • Manage a variety of strategic projects from start to finish, including developing business cases, draft briefing documents, and present findings to senior management
  • Support inorganic growth initiatives, including researching and screening potential acquisition opportunities, assisting with due diligence (including managing cross functional work streams and external advisors)
  • Participate in financial modeling and analysis, synergy validation, valuation support, and post-deal integration
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, accounting or engineering
  • 2-5 year experience in a finance or consulting role
  • Experience in consumer products or manufacturing industries is a requirement
  • Ability to proactively drives results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment with high profile projects.  
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial modeling skills
  • Highly proficient with Excel
  • Intellectually curious with a willingness to learn and open to feedback. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Transaction (buy-side or sell-side) exposure would be an asset, but not required
