The Financial Analyst reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller in our Corporate Financial Reporting Team and key responsibilities include month-end close, analysis and reporting.

This position is out of our office in Concord, Ontario

Responsibilities

  • Assist with external reporting – financial statements, MD&A and other reporting
  • Prepare support for corporate external audit requests
  • Support month and quarter-end close tasks and bookkeeping
  • Prepare corporate monthly and quarterly schedules, reconciliations and continuity schedules
  • Assist with internal management reporting – profitability analysis, reporting to executive management and Board
  • Data analysis
  • Assist with special projects on an ad hoc basis

 

Qualifications

  • All positions within the finance team have a clear, uncompromising responsibility to ensure internal controls and business policies are followed
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business or finance)
  • Interested in pursuing CPA designation and enrolled in CPA Program to obtain CPA designation
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, ability to manage competing priorities and detail-oriented
