    The Senior Manager, Integration and Analytics position is part of the KIK Custom Products – Information Systems team. The incumbent will lead the design, implementation and operations of the Data and Application Integration and Analytics. The incumbent will work directly with business users, process owners and management alongside IT/IS team interfaces.  This role is responsible for managing and continuously improving IT processes related to Data, Integration and Analytics, for the Global IT Organization.  Embed and support the processes in a standards-based environment, deployed globally and accessible across the organization.

     

    This role is based in Woodbridge, ON but will have responsibilities for global locations with travel requirements ranging from 10-15%.

    Responsibilities

    People Management

    • Lead a team of integration and analytics developers who work closely with other departments to identify needs.
    • Guides the team and end users on the use of integration and analytical tools.
    • Lead and provide mentorship to the team to ensure they meet their operational and development goals.
    • Manage performance of direct reports. Set appropriate context and establish prescribed limits for subordinates, including setting an effective framework of policies and procedures for the work in the team.
    • Act as a mentor for team members by providing effective coaching to maximize performance, promote accountability, build shared knowledge and enhance the team environment.
    • Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by foresting an inclusive work environment and using coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vision/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning.

     

    Data Architecture and Management

    • Act as the Data Architect, responsible for generating architectural designs by following best practices and build data warehouses, data marts as necessary.
    • Manage Data warehousing projects within the context of the Enterprise Information Architecture.
    • Manage the collaborative development of information architecture, develop and apply standards and guidelines for information ingestion, information delivery, information presentation and publishing standards and patterns.
    • Establish guiding principles, architectural decisions and publish interfaces across various Data layers- Landing, ODS, Data Marts, to be consumed for ad-hoc and pre-canned analysis and reporting.

     

    Data Governance

    • Coordinate and collaborate with key Data Owners, Data Stewards, Stakeholders and Application SME’s to establish, and publish governance policies and procedures.
    • Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to define and create standard and custom data quality profiling rules and standard rules and setup for monitoring Data Quality on a regular frequency.
    • Propose process improvements to increase data integrity and quality across the organization.
    • Implement, maintain and enhance Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management and related policies, in alignment with the company standards and frameworks in collaboration with the Data Owners and Data Stewards.

     

    Application Integration

    • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of integration services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
    • Design, Implement and Operate the company application integration architecture including the data integration and enterprise service bus (ESB) / Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) components.
    • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to understand their processes, data and application integration requirements.
    • Responsible for the Integration team, architecture, solution design, planning, coordination and management of all activities and resources related to Integration tasks.
    • Monitor and Enhance data and application integrations, ensuring integrations are executed in a timely manner with the expected quality. Includes (but not limited to) integrations between ERP systems, Multiple ERPs and external systems, EDI, etc.

     

    Data Analytics

    • Responsible for the enterprise data and analytics strategy and champion adoption of enterprise analytics capabilities.
    • Manage the enterprise analytic services and establish enterprise standards, guidelines and methodologies for development of analytic solutions, visualizations and data marts.
    • Collaborate with senior Information System leads and key stakeholders to understand needs, identify and prioritize key analytic opportunities and project overflow.
    • Manage and oversees the design, development, and implementation of innovative analytical solutions Manage large cross-functional analytical projects by applying the necessary level of scrutiny to ensure the output and recommendations delivered are to the highest level of quality.
    • Act as a Project Manager and Product Manager throughout the lifecycle of developing strategic Analytics Products.
    • Support business partners and advocate the benefits of advanced analytics, work collaboratively to define analytical solutions for priority business problems.

     

    Performs other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or other business-related field is preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience as an Application/Solution Architect and 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect,
    • 8+ years of experience in a multi-location, global environment
    • Proven experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, SAP Data Services, and Informatica Power Center
    • Expert in at least two RDBMS such as: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata
    • Knowledge of data replication techniques such as CDC, Journals, Articles and Replications.
    • Proficiency in physical and logical data modelling concepts.
    • Experience in cross-platform development & architecture
    • Experience with SOAP / REST web services
    • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) / API-led development, and implementation projects for large IT organizations using systems integration methods and technologies
    • Experience in multiple formal SDLC methodologies including Agile
    • Experience managing delivery projects of 5-15 people
    • Ability to develop strong client relationship at the Executive level (Director/VP/CXO levels) in relevant market and leveraging them to assess potential sales opportunities
